Dead Snow

Ever heard of the expression "It's so bad it's good"?

Dead Snow.....Zombie Nazi's 'Nuff Said. But seriously this is a bad movie. The idea is interesting, but it plays every cliche horror angle ever invented. It is so cheesy that you actually start to laugh throughout the film.

The premise introduces a new type of zombies: nazi's. With their corpses frozen this zombie pick doesn't have much vomit inducing images of falling humans walking toward you, but it does favorite the hole intestines being pulled from the body. Seriously more than half the people killed are having their intestines ripped out of their body. One of the characters is even saved by their intestines, using it as a rope as they dangle with a zombie eating them from a cliff.

Although this film can be super cheesy it is still a somewhat enjoyable time. I never thought I wasted my time watching this, but at the same time I didn't get much from this movie. I remember when this first came out and every body was talking about how bad it was and they would all have friends come over and have a party while watching it, and I have to agree with them. The best way to watch this zombie film is a group of friends where you all can laugh and have fun.

Where this film does get enjoyable in a sense, you definitely don't gain anything from it. If you have never watched it and don't plan on doing so you won't miss anything. This film is straight up in your face. It gives you the basics with some really good fake bodies being torn and eaten apart. It's up to you whether you want to or not but this can easily be a film to pass on. Now have you seen Dead Snow? How did you see it? Was it a waste of time?
