Boris Karloff gets another monster under his belt! Only one year after Frankenstein!
Do you love monster movies? Creatures of the night that terrify you? Or you love the old classic monsters that started it all? My blog will be dedicated to all of that, covering the classics to all the new remakes. Once in a while I will talk about a book I think is a very great read concerning monsters, and eventually I would like to talk about monsters on television. Hopefully you'll like my blog and interact.

It's so good you need it twice! Back to the Lagoon where science sticks it's evil hands into the creature's home and terrorize him once again!
Universal Classic Monsters Complete 30-Film Collection!
Surprisingly I have never owned a universal monster movie before. Well I had to change that, fast. So I was looking online for great sets and I found this:
Shadow of the Vampire
It's eerie, it's creepy, it will give you the shivers. Willem Dafoe is Count Orlok!!!
Universal Classic Monster Cinematic Univervse
What a mouthful! Ever since the Marvel initiative with their cinematic universe every film studio wanted to get in on the money making.
Dracula Untold
The newest Dracula film that will start off the Universal Monster Cinematic Universe hits us like a roller coaster as we watch a Dracula film that is rated PG-13, has minimal blood, epic fights, and a fan war.

Creature from the Black Lagoon
The first time I actually felt scared watching a universal classic monster movie was when I first watched Creature from the Black Lagoon. Watching this movie for the first time amazed me, my mind was blown. The fact that it is a very beautifully shot film combined with those amazing underwater shots made the film so much more than a regular monster movie.

The Beginning!
This is my first blog so I thought I'd make it about something that would have me coming back again and again (hopefully) and that is my love for monster films. My plan is to focus on the early universal classic monster movies to talk about, then I'd maybe move up to Godzilla and oldies like King Kong, maybe some semi-obscure monsters like the beast from 20,000 fathoms.
In this post I just wanted to let people know what this blog will be about and give them a slight overview of what I'm doing. I believe the first monster I will talk about will be the creature from The Creature from the Black Lagoon. Hopefully I will post that up within a week, and we'll go from there.
