Do you love monster movies? Creatures of the night that terrify you? Or you love the old classic monsters that started it all? My blog will be dedicated to all of that, covering the classics to all the new remakes. Once in a while I will talk about a book I think is a very great read concerning monsters, and eventually I would like to talk about monsters on television. Hopefully you'll like my blog and interact.

The Invisible Agent
Boy, oh boy. The invisible man franchise sure knows how to stick their neck into every genre. First comedy, and now making their way into the action/war genre. Following the first movie, this one is about the grandson of the original invisible man. The German's track him down for the formula, but surprise surprise he decides to use it for America. He meets a nice German, an awful German, and a beautiful spy he doesn't know who's side she's on.
Honestly, this film doesn't give us anything new to the invisible man lore. The stunts are the same as previous ones, and the tone is either full comedy or full action making it a very mixed bag. If I really wanted to pick on this movie I could tear it apart, but I wont because knowing this type of movie, it was only made for profit. That and I did get some enjoyment out of it. Peter Lorre is in it, briefly, and his scenes are good. The comedy is also good, but again I can really question how truthful they are to the invisible lore to a degree.
Definitely an interesting film, but I'm not sure how many people would go out of their way to see this today. Scenes, and most of the movie, are easily forgettable. Dialog is simple, as were the times, and the tone was switching each end of the spectrum throughout. I'd say unless your a super hardcore fan then you should check this out, if not your not missing much.
RECOMMENDATION: Low
